Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was quick, showed a short upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; had a clean exchange, athletic footwork, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a short quick arm action and a ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.74. Projectable on the mound, showed a short loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-77 mph; has arm side command and sinking action. (Max spin 2003; Avg 1800). Throws a 1/7 curveball (68-69) that shows down in the zone control and slurvey action. (Max spin 1845; Avg 1566). His changeup (63-67) had fading action and arm side command.
