7/24/19

6-foot-4, 195 pound long and lean player with an athletic frame and above average height. Plenty of room to fill out and gain mass. A right-handed hitter,  e recorded the highest exit velocity read in the event with 96 mph. He starts his hands near his back shoulder with even feet and a wider stance. The swing is short to contact, compact, down to middle to up path. He creates solid leverage and when stays through on the ball and doesn’t pull off baseball jumps off the bat. In the field, he shows athletic movements from 3B and can play the hop very well for his lanky size. His arm works and showed an easy 84 mph from the corner on target multiple times. Off the mound, he has an easy delivery, going down hill, delivery that breaks into a quick long and clean arm from the high ¾ slot, fastball touching 84 mph. His breaking ball plays well and sits between 70-71 mph with a changeup sitting 67-68 mph. He is a guy who can add value on the bump and at the plate. At the next level, solid two-way player.

Tee Exit Velocity: 95 mph
Arm Velocity: 84 mph

3/06/19

6-foot-4, 185-pound,  long, lean lengthy, athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are broad, has room for future advancement. One of the better right-handed pitchers at this event. The arm is electric, fastball coming in at 85 mph, jumps out of his hand. The delivery is smooth and repeats it, lift is athletic, could get to more of a gather, looks to glide out, direction is inline, great finish with extension. The arm action is long and loose, working out of a ¾ slot, fastball worked to both sides, with action to 2-seamer. The breaking ball is a true curveball with tilt and depth, clocked at 74-75 mph, chance to be a legit out pitch at the next level. The change up has feel, clocked at 74-76 mph, down action, with depth. Big time arm, potential to be a two-way player, swing is flat, with life to it, tee exit velocity is advanced at 94 mph. Projects for me more off the mound, worth seeing as position player as well.

9/19/18

6-foot-3, 185-pound, long, skinny athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, has plenty of room for future development. A two-way player, showed well on both sides of the field. Off the mound, delivery is easy and repeats in with ease. The hands have tempo and timing to them, small controlled leg raise, could get to more of a gather. The weight wants to leak forward, with slight drop on back leg. The arm action is super loose and clean, working out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball jumps out of his hand with ease, touched 82 mph with action to arm side. The fastball has late life to it, look for it to climb at some point. The breaking ball reached 73 mph, slurvy break to it, was thrown for strikes. The change up showed to have real good feel, sold well with good arm speed, clocked at 71-73 mph. At the plate, hits from the right side, feet are even slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are relaxed set just below the shoulders. The swing is level through the zone, finishes with two hands at shoulder height. The approach is more middle to pull side, had a good showing, made hard contact in batting practice. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 92 mph and ran 7.60. Defensively, hand and feet are good, works low to the ground, comes through the baseball. Moves well to the glove side starting the double play. The arm was clocked at 82 mph, has plenty of arm to stick at third base. Legit two way guy, time will tell which way he will go, big follow.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.60
Exit Velocity: 92 MPH
Arm Velocity: 82 MPH
