6 foot, 175 pounds, wiry frame. Room to bolster the core and lower half. Low ¾ slot to sidearm pitcher only, profiles as a reliever at the next level. Generates velocity from his whippy arm action, with room to improve as he taps into his lower half. Featured a two pitch mix that induced plenty of weak contact in the infield during the game. The fastball came in between 75-77 mph with good sink. Fills up the zone with his fastball which batters can struggle to elevate and pick up out of the hand, even though he shows it at the backside. He threw his breaking ball between 65-69 mph with frisbee-like movement. Gets horizontal break to it and shows feel for manipulating the pitch when looking for more vertical tilt. Looks to attack batters with a slide step motion in all situations, working with purpose on the mound. Sollitto gets outs, making him an interesting follow heading into his senior season.

6 footer, 175 pounds, wiry build, athletic, capable of adding strength to lower half and core. A pitcher only, Sollitto Jr. throws from a low ¾ slot, nearly sidearm. Whippy arm action, ball becomes visible at the backside, all velocity comes from the arm, barely tapping into his legs. Natural armside run and sink on the fastball, which currently sits in the low 70s. Sollitto Jr. fills up the zone with it. The breaking ball has two plane movement but can be a little slurvy and consistently registering in the low to mid 60s, though dropping off more when aiming for more vertical movement. Considering the arm slot, may be best served turning it into a hard slider. Did not throw a changeup though he may need one to maximize his potential and add another piece to his repertoire. Profiles best as a reliever at the next level, and making the necessary strength gains to increase velocity could make him a high leverage one at that.
