3/20/21

5-foot-11, 145-pound long, athletic.  Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in a tall athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a long stride.Has explosive bat speed, short flat swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 82 mph; has a twitchy exchange, smooth athletic feet, and soft hands. Fielded the ball one hand with quick movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot with a long arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.37 at the event. Above average on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph; has a hard fastball that showed control low in the zone and sinking action.Threw a 1/7 curveball 65-68 mph with consistent command and slurvey action. Love the athletic ability, projects off the mound.

Exit Velocity: 88 mph

Arm Velocity: 82 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.37

11/04/20

5-foot-11, 145-pound, longer lean athletic frame, wider back, squared off shoulders, with plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, working from the set position, hands start and stay higher. The lift is athletic, loaded and stays over the backside. The arm action down to up, works from a higher slot, minimal effort to it. Landing slightly across body, small spin off at end. Building momentum down the mound, real good tempo to the delivery. The fastball reached 81 mph, gets through the catcher on glove side, more in there. Showing good hand speed on the breaker, up to 69 mph, has depth and tilt to it. Showed feel for a true circle changeup, starting to really make progress with it, will be a weapon at some point. Good looking projectable arm.

7/15/20

6-foot, 150-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, with room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, that worked out as a position player. Off the mound, simple athletic lift, loaded on the backside, inline stride. The arm action is long and loose, arm works from a higher slot. Pitching downhill, lived in the bottom part of the zone. The delivery is on time and under control. The fastball was clocked at 77 mph, with arm side run to it, with a ton more in there. The breaking ball shows to have good spin and shape to it, clocked at 63 mph. Threw the baseball very well. At the plate, a wider setup, loose hands at the shoulders. The lower half is under control, gains ground. The swing is level to up, middle of the field approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph, has bat speed, ability to get the baseball to the gaps. Ran a 7.75 sixty-yard dash, a long strider. Defensively, approach is under control from outfield, arm works with minimal effort, clocked at 75 mph. Look for a spike in velocity at some point, projects out more off the mound for me.

Exit Velocity: 86 mph

Arm Velocity: 75 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.75

2/22/20

5-foot-11, 145-pound, longer, thin, athletic frame, showing to have wiry strength to him. A two-way player, showed well on both sides of the field. Off the mound, delivery, is controlled and deliberate, working from the set position, the lift is athletic working with minimal effort. Staying over the backside, has tilt to it, stride is inline, with proper length. The arm action is super clean, a longer path, working from a high 3/4 slot, having good hand speed from side view. The fastball touched 80 mph, located to both sides of the plate, arm side run, baseball comes out well. The breaking ball is a true curveball, clocked at 69 mph, makings of a legit out pitch. The changeup showed proper action. At the plate, loose, fluid hands, with barrel having life out front on contact, tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph. Drifts a tick, could get front foot down a sooner. Defensively, the feet are super quick, using more of a shuffle for the transfer. The arm was clocked at 79 mph, all throws were on a line, with carry. Projects for me more off the mound, look for the velocity to spike this year, big follow.

10/26/19

5-foot-11, 145-pound, thin, wiry strong athletic frame. Squared off shoulders, with room for added weight. The actions and movements are athletic, with rhythm to them. A two-way player, projects off the mound for me down the road. A right-handed pitcher, delivery is simple, arm action is super loose and clean, working out of a higher 3/4 slot. The lift is athletic, strong on the back half, the direction is inline to the plate. The fastball comes out well, clocked at 77 mph, with more in there should jump at some point. The breaker reached 68 mph, has some hand speed to it, depth and late downward break. Changeup is a work in progress. Attacked and was aggressive in his bullpen. Defensively, threw 77 from the outfield,  works low on the catch, clean transfer, active clean feet. Showed solid routs in outfield. At the plate, open stance, small leg kick for timing. The hands are set higher, swing is level to up, creating some lift to the swing. The approach is more to pull side, hard contact, with a tee exit velocity of 82 mph, moves quick, ran a 7.16 sixty-yard dash. Strength is a must, look for good things from this one.
