6-foot, 175-pound, average athletic frame, longer neck, sloped shoulders, with plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, arm action is long, loose, quick and works with minimal effort. The delivery is simple, easy leg raise, inline direction, quick tempo, building momentum down the mound. Spin off on release, needs to stay through and on it a tick longer. The fastball was up to 79 mph, quick out of the hand look for a jump at some point. The breaking ball has good, tight spin to it, clocked at 70 mph, a swing and miss pitch if located in right spot. With velocity good with breaking ball, velocity should climb. Works fast, shows potential.

Patrick Ashe: RHP/RHP, (2023) Staples, CT. 6-foot, 175-pound lean athletic build. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a compact short arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed an athletic balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 71-74 mph; shows slight running action and arm side control. (Max spin 1949; Avg 1856). Showed glove side sporadic control and sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (60-61). (Max spin 2009; Avg 2009). Threw his straight changeup (66-67) with arm side run around the zone.

Patrick Ashe, Staples, 2023, CT

CB: 60-61 mph. Glove side sporadic command, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2009; Avg 2009).

6-foot, 175-pound, average athletic frame, well proportioned, with room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher,  simple, repeatable controlled delivery.  The hands start higher, work down with rocker step, and rise back up with smooth leg kick. Weight posted on back leg, stride is inline, squared up on release of the baseball. Shows some spin off on release, could track a tick longer to plate. The arm action is clean, working from a higher slot. The fastball has run to it, clocked at 83 mph, moves all over the place, will be hard to square up. The curveball was up to 69 mph, showing 1/7 break. The changeup is thrown harder, still a work in progress. The arm is quick and clean, look for a jump at some point.

5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 76-77 mph with arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch was 66-67 mph and big in shape. The spin pitch needs to add more fastball hand speed to it.  The changeup is still a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated, coil at the top and he spins through his direction until he gets to foot strike. The tracking of  the front shoulder needs to be aligned more with the plate so hold his direction. The glove comes across the hitters face adding to deception.
