6 foot, 175 pounds, his shoulders are sloped and he has a strong upper body. A well-proportioned, average athletic build. DeLise ran a 7.63 sixty yard dash. DeLise stands tall at the plate from the right side, with his hands starting up above the shoulder before dropping to shoulder height. Minor toe tap with solid bat speed. He posted a tee exit velocity of 82 MPH. When DeLise connects he makes loud contact and is capable of driving the ball into the gaps. The bat path is level-up and DeLise put together a good display in the cage during batting practice. As a first baseman, DeLise releases the ball from a ¾ slot and the arm was clocked at 65 MPH across the diamond. Will need to work on quickening his actions around the bag. The glove is average.  A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is simple sound, hands start and stay at mid chest, backs side is strong and stays over the rubber in a good gather position. The stride length is longer and inline with the plate.  Release is out front, gets good extension, with the back side coming through and using the entire body to pitch the baseball, a classic finish. The arm action has average length, works out of  higher slot, fastball was clocked at 72 mph, with more in his arm. The breaking ball showed good hand speed, clocked at 67 mph. The change up was his top secondary pitch, good fade and shape to it, clocked at 66 mph, soldi arm speed.  Strength and overall conditioning is a must, good follow.
