7/12/16
6-foot, 185-pound, strong athletic frame, back and legs have strength and he has room to fill out. Defensively, is one of the better catchers in the area. The arm is his best tool, it's clean, powerful, has good carry and throws are downhill on the proper side of the bag. The setup behind the plate is balanced, even, hands and feet work well together. The hands are strong when receiving, sticks the pitch well. Pop times were 2.0 on the bag and arm was clocked at 77 mph, with life. Offensively, at the plate, he hits from a balanced stance, hands are very strong, are setup at shoulder height and are loose. For timing, has a small load, with a minimal stride approach. The swing is level to up, the tee exit velocity was 87 mph, took two good rounds of BP. Good catch and throw guy solid follow, has worked and caught some good arms over the past year.

2/14/16
6-foot, 180-pound athletic, physical body frame with natural strength. Offensively, a right-handed hitter, starts with an even balanced stance. The hands are set just above the shoulders, uses a small weight shift to get back and the stride is straight and under control. The swing path is level through the zone, stays through the ball well and has a two handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 86 mph, swung the bat well made solid contact. Defensively, the setup is balanced and relaxed. Shows soft hands, setup allows him to work freely back there. Footwork is clean, to go along with a quick transfer. Clocked at 76 mph from the crouch, the arm action is short, quick with no wasted movement. Times to second are 1.96-2.07, downhill and on the bag.
11/15/15
A right-handed hitting catcher, at 6-foot, 175 pounds the frame is athletic, strong, shows to be flexible and has plenty of room to add weight on. Showed extremely well at this event, was very impressive. The setup behind the plate is balanced, feet are in line and seems to be very relaxed back there. The footwork is quick and gets down into proper position when blocking, is able to move side to side well. The hands are strong and transfer is quick, brings his glove right across his face to get into throwing position. The arm path is quick, short with no wasted movement. Times down to second were 2.0-2.07 and were around the bag. The velocity was 73, ball has good carry and gets through his target well.  At the plate the tee exit velocity was 84, the stance is balance and hands are set at shoulder height. The hands are loose and the path is level through the zone, ball jumps off his bat.  Leaps forward a bit, hits ball out front could wait a little longer, probably pulls a little more than he should. Definite follow for me, is someone that needs to be seen in the springtime, has all the makings of being a front line catcher.
