He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed off the back shoulder. He then uses a short stride to initiate a simple, flat swing with a good finish. He found multiple barrels during his rounds, showing a quick bat and a gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, his throw downs to second were up to 77 mph with a pop time range of 2.13-2.23. His initial setup is calm. The feet are square, his chest is tall and the glove is relaxed in the center of the chest. As he transitions to throw, he shows a fluid  transfer, athletic feet and soft hands. In the box, Heinz had a max exit velocity of 91 MPH, with a (67.95 MPH bat speed average) and (22.30 MPH hand speed average). He begins in a wide, balanced stance with quiet hands. A controlled load allows him to get into a strong position to hit before the bat takes a slightly uphill path through the hitting zone. In the outfield, his throws reached a max velocity of 81 MPH, while showing that he had sure hands, consistent feet and a clean exchange behind the plate, Heinz was up to 75 MPH, with a pop time range of 2.00-2.07 on his throws down to second. His initial set up is balanced, with the glove set in the middle of the chest. As he transitioned to throw, he showed smooth feet, a clean transfer, and sure hands. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.42.

Barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Recorded a 60 time of 7.88 at the event. Look for him to hit at a high level, shows twitchy actions behind the plate.

5-foot-8, 180-pound, strong, powerful athletic frame, squared off shoulders, well proportioned with strength throughout. A left-handed hitting catcher, feet are even, higher hand set, with loaded hands and bat having tilt to it. Lower half is under control, stepping in slightly, with more backside drive. The swing is level to up, approach is more middle of the field, shows ability to go opposite. Showing good power, had an exit velocity of 93 mph and ran a 7.58 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.09-2.22, feet are clean in transfer, gaining ground, staying inline with target. The arm was clocked at 77 mph, arm is powerful, little long at times, could shorten. The hands are strong on the catch and moves well, with block. The skill set is very good. Worked out at third base as well, soft glove feet moved throughout. Correct double play starts. The arm has very good strength at 78 mph, flight and carry. Good looking prospect.
