2.17.19

6-foot-1, 205-pound, large, wide athletic frame. The shoulders are sloped, a well proportioned athlete, good pitchers frame. The delivery is under control, works out of the set position. The leg kick is high and athletic, has some lean back to it, hands are high in power position. The direction is inline, gets squared up on release. The slot is a tick higher than ¾, uses the entire body to pitch the baseball. The fastball reached 83 mph, located to both sides of the plate, 4-seamer, true life to it. Showed feel for both secondary pitches, changeup had proper shape and fade to it, clocked at 73 mph, thrown for a ton of strikes. The breaking ball, showed tight spin, tilt break, clocked as high as 70 mph. Times to the plate were average at 1.35. Look for the velocity to continue to climb, interesting late prospect.

8.8.18
6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 80 mph, minimal downhill plane to the pitch. The spin pitch is 67-68 mph, needs additional hand speed to the pitch to aid the development of the offering. The changeup is wide in rotation, a cement mixer, sat at 76 mph. The feet are online, the slot is above ¾. The leg lift is high, leads with the hip, after a coil at the top. The glove side is posted and soft. The arm works freely and clean. Put forth a solid showing in the game and I liked how his arm worked. Showed a little deception to me as he hid the ball well at times.
