6/19/19

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Ran a 6.98 sixty on the laser at the event as the foot speed is good. The approach in the outfield is aggressive and athletic. He is a solid athlete, threw 81 mph from right field to the plate at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches. The hands work simple, slightly uphill in path. The swing  and the bottom half is under control throughout the process of making contact with the ball.

2/17/19

6-foot-1, 170-pound, long, lean athletic frame. The athletic ability is above average, looks and moves the part. A right-handed hitting outfielder, toolsy type player, at the plate, feet are even at the shoulders. Lower half is under control and simple, stays behind the baseball on contact. The hands are super loose, swing is flat through the zone, barrel has life and whip. The approach is to all fields, has a chance to be an extra base guy, enough juice to get the baseball into the alleys. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph and ran an easy 6.84 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, moves extremely well in outfield, routes and angles are above average. The transfer is clean, uses more of a shuffle, gains ground, front side is strong and inline with target. The arm works outs of a high ¾ slot, clean with easy effort on the backside, clocked at 83 mph. Throws are on target, with downhill flight to them. Love the athletic ability high follow for me.

10/20/18

6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Showed well at the event. Ran a 4.57 down the line on his dig. The outfield approach is athletic and aggressive, has the ability to play both corner spots in the outfield. Threw 74 mph from the outfield to the plate.  The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The set up is wide in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The weight gets to the front foot early. The hands work well, fluidity in the swing. The path has lift in it, could be flattened. The frame can add strength to it to aid the development of the swing.
