Desjardins is a 5-foot-11, 175 pound right-handed hitting middle infield prospect. He hits out of wide stance, with the hands in a good position. The load is short and triggered by a controlled leg kick. The bat-head works through the zone on a flat, direct path. During the batting practice he produced a max exit velocity of 89 MPH with a lot of hard hit line drives. He also ran a solid 7.05 second sixty.

Defensively, Desjardins had a max velocity of 74 MPH across the infield. The feet were light as he worked to get into a good fielding position. As he moved through the ground ball, the feet got the hips into a good throwing position, in line with the target. The arm swing is longer and he finishes through the play, with good extension.

5-foot-11, 175-pound, strong, solid athletic frame, put together well, showing strength throughout. A right-handed hitter, at the plate, even feet at shoulder width. Higher loose hand set, lower half is under control, smooth higher leg kick, gains ground, with backside drive. The hands are back on foot strike, swing is level to up, barrel is in the zone a long time, shows ability to stay in the middle of the field with pop to right-center field. The exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph and ran well with a 7.06 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, approach is under control, fields out front, comes through the baseball.. The arm was clocked at 67 mph, short arm action. Projects out to be an offensive second baseman.

5-foot-11, 175-pound, average athletic frame, showing to have strength throughout. A right-handed hitting corner infielder, shows to have good tools. Runs above average, ran a 4.15 from home to 1st base, quick steps off the blocks. At the plate, even set up, loose hands at shoulders, with a flat setup. The swing is level through the zone, with more of a pull approach. The hands are strong and quick, tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, baseball jumps off the bat. Defensively, threw 73 mph across the diamond, working low to the ground, minimal wasted movement during the transfer, showing good rhythm and flow. Interesting follow, has athletic ability.
