Sean Salvador: SS/RHP, (2022) out of Waterford, CT. is a 5-foot-5, 140-pound two-way prospect. During batting practice, Salvador had an exit velocity of 86 MPH, with a 56.81 MPH bat speed average and 18.85 MPH hand speed average. He began in a balanced, athletic stance with relaxed hands just off the back shoulder. A small load stacks the weight over the back leg before the bat takes a flat path through the hitting zone. During his round, he showed the ability to use the middle of the field and stay on plane well through contact. In the infield, he was up to 83 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed he has smooth feet, sure hands, and a clean exchange. He also recorded a 60 time of 7.0 at the event. On the mound, Salvador uses a simple delivery. He gets balanced at the top, separates well and heads down the mound in line with home plate. The arm swing is a clean, low ¾ slot that produces sink on a fastball that sits 77-78 MPH (Max spin 2049; Avg 1817). He flashed a sweeping curveball (66-69MPH) (Max spin 2521; Avg 2410) and a fading changeup (73-74 MPH).
