5-foot-10, 180-pound athletic solid frame. Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 84 mph. (58.7 mph bat speed average). (18.1 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic tall stance with a tight compact load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Has above average quick bat speed, short simple swing plane and good extension on his balanced finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Line drive up the middle approach. Solid projectable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 74 mph; shows smooth rhythmic feet, soft consistent hands, and a clean natural exchange. Laterally, movements were average developing and fielded the ball out front. Used a short quick arm action with a high¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 7.71 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose clean arm action. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort.Balance is tall point with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands soft with an athletic upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 73-76 mph;had both sides of the plate control and sinking action. (Max spin 1918; Avg 1844). Threw a 1/7 curveball (63-65) with glove side command and late tilt action. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Had a short quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a 60 time of 7.74 at the event. Above average on the mound, showed a short loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic upright finish. Threw his fastball 77-78 mph; had running sinking action and both sides of the plate command.
