5-foot-11, 165-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders with room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitting two-way player, showing very well off the mound. The delivery is simple, working from the set position, taller on the backside, smooth leg raise, loaded on the backside. Inline direction, with good extension out front on release of the baseball. The arm action is long and loose on the backside, working out of natural 3/4 slot. The fastball was only clocked at 72 mph, will climb pretty quick. Showed feel for the breaking ball, clocked at 60 mph, mixed in a true changeup. At the plate, even feet, hands at shoulder height, with bat tilt. The lower half is under control, small pickup, gains ground. The swing path is level through the zone, could get more backside involved. The exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph, approach is more middle of the field, hands stay inside the baseball. From the outfield, threw an easy 73 mph, clean transfer, all throws on target. Watch for a big jump off the mound.
