6-foot-, 155-pound left-handed hitting shortstop and pitcher who is a serious athlete. On the mound, the fastball touched 82 mph with good leverage and life to it. The breaking ball shape is excellent, sat at 70-71 mph. The changeup is a work in progress. Very athletic lift and coil at the top. The arm is above ¾ and works extremely well. Occasionally used no leg lift out of the wind up, adding to deception. I really like the arm and the athleticsm, don't be surprised if he throws gas in a  year.  Defensively, showed extremely well at shortstop, making all the plays and showing plus range to the ball. Threw 82 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The glove and ability to play shortstop are above average. Ran a 4.66 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat needs physical strength to it, tee exit velocity of 79 mph. Hits out of a close feet start, front foot slightly open. Uses a big pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is clean and the hands work well. Would like to see him calm down the bottom half. Love his game and chances on the bump.
Tee Exit Velocity- 79 mph
INF Velocity- 82 mph

6-foot, 150-pound, long, thin lengthy frame, has plenty of room to fill out and put on added weight. Currently a two-way player, looks to be more advanced as a right-handed pitcher. Off the mound, delivery is effortless and repeats it with ease. The hands start high and move downward with rocker step and then work backup in sync with his controlled high leg raise. The separation is clean, the stride leg gets slightly across the body with front foot landing slightly open, could be longer as well, could help in getting him inline better. The arm action is short, clean and quick on the backside, works out of a higher ¾ slot, has downhill action to it. The fastball was clocked at 79-82 mph, with action to the arm side. The breaking ball is his best pitch at this point, shows depth and tilt to it, clocked at 67-69 mph, and threw the changeup for strikes at 73-74 mph. The fastball jumps out of his hand and has some giddyup to it when it gets to the plate. As a position player, worked out at shortstop, has clean smooth actions, works well to both sides, especially to glove side. The arm was clocked at 81 mph, has plenty of carry across the diamond. The feeds and turns were proper on the double play feeds. At the plate, hits from the left side, the stance is shorter in width and starts slightly open. For timing uses a higher leg kick, gains ground with the stride, gets long at times. The hands are loose, set higher than shoulder height with some tilt to them. The swing is flat through the zone, with approach being middle to opposite, more of a spray hitter. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, and ran a 4.71 from home to first. Projects for me as a pitcher, look for the velocity to climb quick. Big follow for me.

Home - First: 4.71

Exit Velocity: 84 mph

Arm Velocity: 81 mph

3/8/17
5-foot-11,140-pound, thin, long athletic frame, is extremely flexible, actions and movements are very loose, has plenty of room to fill out. The arms are long, shoulders are narrow, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed pitcher, the arm is free and easy, it's quick and works without much effort. The delivery has tempo and timing to it, hands start high work down with rocker step, and raise back up with loose controlled leg raise, gets to a good gather position. The backside post leg is strong, stays tall throughout, stride is slightly shorter, works down hill to the plate, is squared up to the plate on release. The arm works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot, fastball was clocked at 78-80 mph, going to pop at some point. The breaking ball has close to 12/6 break, rotation and spin is tight, late downward break to it. The changeup might be his best pitch, has above average action to it, thrown for strikes, repeats the delivery with it. Times to the plate were good at 1.22-1.32. Strength is a must, once he physically matures, the velocity is going to climb, projection is very high, get out and see him.
8/18/16

5-foot-11, 140-pound, thin, long athletic frame. The actions and movements are loose, has plenty of room to fill out. A slick fielding middle infielder who has above average actions, hands and arm for his age. Defensively, fields from the ground up, hands are soft and feet work well. The flips and feeds on double play from the 6-hole are smooth and have fluidity to them. The arm action is clean on the back side, has some carry to his throws, was clocked at 75 mph across the diamond and has some whip to his arm. On the mound, arm action is slightly longer and it's clean with easy effort to it. The fastball was clocked at 77-78 mph, gets on the hitter. The breaking ball was clocked at 62-68 mph, has good spin, break is 11/5. In his outing threw a ton of strikes, attacked and was aggressive. Times to the plate are quick at 1.25. Offensively, hits from the left side, the stance is open to even and it’s slightly short. The approach is opposite to middle of the field. The hands are loose, tee exit velocity was 72 mph. Time down the line was 4.6. The body is very young, strength is a must, has a huge future and loves to play the game.
