Tyler Bergstrom: RHP/1B, (2024) Berlin, CT. 6-foot-4, 185-pound athletic lengthy frame. (63.0 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall open stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled leg kick. Bat speed is electric, exhibits a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Up the middle pull side approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 80 mph; had a clean exchange, athletic smooth footwork, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a short loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Has both sides of the plate command and late action. (Max spin 1842; Avg 1796). Threw a 1/7 curveball that showed slurvey action and glove side command. (Max spin 1989; Avg 1963). His changeup shows early swing and miss action and arm side command.
