10/05/19

5-foot-10, 145-pound left-handed hitting utility player. Ran a 7.13 sixty on the laser. The approach in outfield is aggressive and athletic, threw 78 mph with carry. Threw 79 mph from shortstop during the defensive workout. The feet need to remain active during the catch and throw. Showed soft hands. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph from the left side. The setup is wide in base, bottom half is under control as the ball approaches. The bat has a small amount wrap as the swing starts. The weight gets to the front foot as the swing is produced. The path has length to it, but the hands work clean and free to contact.

2/17/19

5-foot-9, 135-pound, wiry, strong, athletic frame, neck is long, shoulders are sloped, plenty of room for future added weight. A switch hitter, who can play both the infield and outfield. The top tool is the bat, swings it equally well from both sides, runs well, ran a 7.03 sixty-yard dash. From the left-side, even set up, loose hands, controlled longer stride, gets momentum moving forward. The swing is level through the zone, stays through it and looks to stay in the middle of the field. Tee exit velocity of 79 mph. From the right-side, bat starts flat on back shoulder, simple, pick up with separation, stride is straight. The path is level with lift at the end, finishes high with one hand. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 78 from the right side. Defensively, shows solid footwork in the infield, gets around the baseball, fields out front. The action is super short and clean, works with easy effort of a higher slot, clocked at 77 mph. Actions are good enough to work on either side of the bag at second base. From the outfield arm was clocked at 76 mph, good footwork steps through gains ground, throws were downhill. Brings value to a team, can play all over, projects for me as an offensive second baseman.

Tee Exit Velocity- 79 mph
Arm Velocity- 77 mph-INF, 76-mph-OF
Sixty-Yard Dash- 7.03

2/25/18

5-foot-6,125-pound, thin athletic frame, the neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has room to fill out and add weight. The actions and body movements are smooth and work together. A switch hitter, worked out all over the field. At the plate from the right side, swing is flat through the zone, hands start in a higher position, feet are spread out. The approach is more line drive, from gap to gap, tee exit velocity was clocked at 67 mph. From the left side, setup is wide, bat starts in more of an upright position, hands stay back, the swing is level to up creates more lift from the left side, uses the entire body. The swing is free and clean, tee exit velocity was clocked at 64 mph. Defensively, from shortstop has good prep steps, gets around the baseball, momentum moving towards the base, hands are soft out front, with an easy transfer, is advanced in the field. The arm was clocked at 73 mph, works out of a higher slot. From the outfield, arm was clocked at 77 mph, it's quick and clean, baseball comes out of his hand with ease. The footwork is advanced, gains ground and builds momentum. Off the mound, the delivery is compact, gets to a good gather, small collapse on the back side could stay taller. The direction is inline and finish has good extension with a solid follow through. The fastball was clocked at 70-71 mph, 2-seam had arm side action to it. The breaking ball was clocked at 52 mph, break is inconsistent, needs to get out front on release of the baseball. The changeup was clocked at 59-60 mph, still a work in progress. Good follow, can swing it well from both sides and is advanced defensively.

30 Yard-Dash: 4.07
Tee Exit Velocity: R-67 MPH, L-64 MPH
Arm Velocity: OF-77 MPH, INF-73
