Tyler Telesca: RHP/1B, (2024) Immaculate, CT. 5-foot-10, 185-pound. (61.9 mph bat speed average). (19.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced strong stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, used a level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 70 mph; had a natural exchange, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot with a consistent arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.79. On the mound, used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Changeup (59-62 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 66-70 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1950; Avg 1912). Bat speed is above average, shows a long level swing plane and high good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 68 mph; had a clean exchange, fluid footwork, and soft hands. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 8.72 in the 60-yard dash. Raw on the mound, had a short loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort. Balance is tall point with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Slider (55-60 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 72-75 mph; showed sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 2055; Avg 1996). Throws his 1/7 curveball (60-63) with slurvey action and glove side control. Starts in a wide stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average, had a flat simple swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a strong balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 64-67 mph; has sinking action and command in the zone. Throws a1/7 curveball 54-55 mph; that has arm side command and early action. Showed consistent control and fading action on his changeup 58-59.
