1.13.18

5-foot-11, 160-pound,  an above average athletic frame, shows to have good strength throughout, legs and quickness are above average.  The shoulders are rounded off, has room for future development. A two-way player, was impressive off the mound. A right-handed pitcher, has a repeatable delivery. The hands start and stay high, gets to a good powerful gather. The arm action is shorter works of a higher slot. The fastball was located down in the zone, works downhill, has more of a shorter stride, gets on top of the baseball. The lead arm and head have some pull and lean to them, could square up a bit more. The backside lower half is engaged, with the back leg having height on the follow through. The fastball was clocked at 72-75 mph, with boring action to it. The breaking ball has top to bottom spin and rotation, clocked at 62-64 mph, showed to have good hand speed to it. The changeup is still a work in progress, at times had fade to arm side, clocked at 63-65 mph. Times to the plate were at 1.6. Offensively hits from the left side, stance is balanced throughout. The feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are relaxed at shoulder height with the bat starting in more of a flat position.  The swing is flat through the zone, rolls hands a bit lower could finish higher. The hands have quickness to them, approach is more middle to pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 74 mph. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.94. From the outfield arm was clocked at 78 mph, this was after throwing a 25 pitch bullpen. The footwork and prep steps are accurate, attacks the baseball steps through hard. Throws were on target with carry and flight to them. Good looking two-way athlete, I like how the ball comes out of his hand off the mound.

Tee exit velocity: 74 mph

Arm velocity: 78 mph

Sixty-Yard dash: 6.94
