3/07/25
6-foot-1, 230-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher. The feel at first base is solid, the foot work needs to continue to grow and develop. The arm is clean, throwing 79 mph across the diamond. The bat had an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup at the plate was wide in base. He uses a no stride approach. The hands are strong and the path is slightly uphill to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 76-77 mph with minimal arm side run to it. The breaking ball is 61-62 mph and big in shape. The changeup was 66-67 mph and showed some fade to the arm side. The delivery was solid in tempo and showed deception to the hitter. The arm works and he shows a decent feel for repeating the process.

Scouting Report: 6-foot, 220-pound, stronger, solid, strength throughout, athletic frame. A left-handed hitter, swings the bat above average, with power to the middle to pull side. The stance is balanced, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are loose and relaxed, at the shoulders. The swing is super smooth, level to up, creating backspin to the baseball. The barrel stays in the zone a long time, had an exit velocity of 93 mph, took a solid round of batting practice. Defensively, showed soft hands and good feet around the bag at first, with good flow starting the double play. The arm action is short and clean, threw an easy 77 mph across the diamond. Off the mound, very smooth delivery, throws strikes and repeats. The arm action is clean and works with minimal effort.  The fastball was clocked at 76 mph and mixed in a solid breaking ball at 66 mph. The bat has a chance at some point.

Exit Velocity: 93 mph

Arm Velocity: 77 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.54
