6-foot-2, 250-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder. He ran a 7.2 sixty at the event. The skill set around the bag is solid and the feet work. He threw 76 mph across the diamond. The bat had an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup at the plate was wide and he sinks into his legs. The path to the ball is simple and strong. I like the approach to squaring up the ball, he stays in his skill set.

6/20/24
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 230-pound, thick, strong, athletic frame. A right-handed hitter, a wider, even setup, balanced, weight back on foot strike. The lower half is quiet, very small pick up and put down, swing is compact, short to the baseball, down to level path. The approach was more middle to pull side, showed hard solid contact in batting practice, had an exit velocity of 90 mph, and ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, showed very well at first base, glove is soft, feet move extremely and are quick. Great feel for the position. The arm action is short, clocked at 79 mph. Off the mound, clean deliberate delivery, repeats and works inline and downhill. The arm action is clean, working from a 3/4 slot, has some length to it. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph. Mixed in a slower curveball, showed proper spin, but needs more fastball hand speed to it. Lot to like with this one.
