Caleb Simoneau: SS/2B, (2026) Woodstock Academy, CT. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic strong frame. Above average in the box, Simoneau had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (17.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced open stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled long stride. Had a short simple swing plane, electric bat speed and high good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 80 mph; had athletic quick footwork, twitchy hands, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.22. Shows projection on both sides of the field, strength is a must.
