Travis Danko: 3B/RHP, (2024) Southington, CT. 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic strong build. Solid in the box, Danko had an exit velocity of 83 mph. (64.1 mph bat speed average). (18.8 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, had a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Through his round he found some barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 70 mph; showed a clean exchange, soft hands, and smooth feet. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action and a ¾ slot. Fluid on the mound, showed some arm speed with a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 71-74 mph; has sinking action and arm side control. (Max spin 1911; Avg 1766). Had glove side control and slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (62-66). (Max spin 2055; Avg 1876). Has fading action and arm side command on his changeup (66-68).
