5/28/16- Miami commit who stands at 6-foot-5, 190 pounds with a tall, slender, athletic, and projectable body. He is ranked 41^st in Florida and 83^rd overall. He has an easy delivery with a longer, ¾ arm action and was sitting 90-92 and touching 93 mph at FACA. He has a slow 71-73 mph CB and it breaks two planes with some depth. Overall, Molina had a good showing heading into next week’s draft.

4/8/16 - Tall, projectable right hander with a loose, easy working arm. Has been up to 94 mph in the past. Is presently pitching at 89-91 mph. Arm slot is currently at a 3/4 release. The fast ball has a little hop and sink, but mostly straight and up due to leaving his arm behind. Secondary stuff is soft and loose. Curve ball gets a bit slurvey at 68-72 mph. The change up is 72-74 mph. The delivery is in line and he repeats it. Competes well. The body and the arm are still worthy of being a 2016 draft.

2/25/16 - Still has the plus body and loose arm, but the slot keeps getting lower. Fast ball was 85-89 mph with late tail at times. Soft curve ball at 68-72 mph that was mostly below average, but still had good rotation, just lacks power and the proper angle. Still a ML prospect. Has shown a mid-90s fast ball in the past, and the body and arm are what scouts look for.

10/6/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot-5, 190 pound right hander with a tall loose lean athletic projectable body. Loose live easy working arm at a low ¾ arm slot. Big take away in back. Stays over rubber. Good rhythm. Occasionally pulls off line. Fastball has plus life at 90-93 mph. Occasionally gets under the ball. Curveball is a slurve at 72-74 mph with more width than depth. Will throw harder. Should be a 2016 draft.

At 6-foot-5, 195 pounds, the slender Molina has a projectable frame with room for growth. Molina throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action. With a fastball that can top out at 93 mph, the development of a more dominant second pitch will help compliment his fastball. Molina has committed to the University of Miami.
