2/22/17- Cloonan came out of the gate attacking with fastball that ranged from 88-90 touching 91 while striking out the side in the first. Cloonan cruised through 3 innings, striking out 6 while giving up no runs or hits. Clean easy left handed arm with upside. Also swung the bat well. Draft potential come June.

7/14/15: 

Uncommitted incoming junior. 6-foot-1 170 pounds with a lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Upright stance with a leg kick for his stride. Relaxed at the plate with a nice swing plane. Stays inside the ball well and hits to all fields. Good bat speed with a line drive approach.

12/7/14 SF Elite tryout - Loose lean projectable body. Has quickness in hands with a good plane. Bat stays thru the zone. Shows some power now with alot more to come. Good actions in OF with very good arm strength and a quick release. Tracks ball well in OF.
