Committed to Appalachian State

Transferred from LSU to Palm Beach State College
10/16/16- Louisiana State recruit. 6-foot-3, 206 pounds with a physical build and strong forearms. Displayed present power and the ability to drive the ball deep into the gaps, over the fence. There is some stiffness in the catching actions, but he has a strong arm which results in pop times ranging from 1.9-2.12. A physically mature kid, he is strong and have present tools that can play at the next level, but will need to continue to improve his flexibility to reach the full potential.
3/22/16 - Louisiana State commit. 6-foot-3, 205 pound catcher with a tall lose athletic projectable body with long arms and legs. Good receiver with softness in his hands. Good mobility for bigger guy. Stands up to throw with fair body control but has a plus arm. 2.05 to 2B. 1.85 on a pitch outBall really jumps out of his hand. Struggles with accuracy when he has to hurry. Long loose swing with some quickness and strength. Good leverage. Shows present power with a lot more to come. Plays with a lot of confidence. Great looking young catcher. Has tools to become good 2017 draft.
3/4/16- Louisiana State commit who stands at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds with a tall, athletic, strong, and projectable body. Loose actions and he is a soft receiver and possesses plus arm strength from behind the plate. Short, quick swing with a flat path through the zone. More power will come with added strength, more extension, and learning to use his lower half more. He is one of the top, if not the top, catching prospects in Florida.
6/14/15- 6-foot-3 195 pounds with a tall, long, lean, athletic, and projectable body. Loose and smooth actions on the field. Very quick and transfer and release from behind the plate. Average ML arm down to second. 1.8 pop time. At the plate he has some rhythm and has a leg kick. Short, flat swing that he slightly cuts off. Could get a little better extension. Consistent line drives and showed he cut hit quality pitching in the game.
2/5/15 - Big strong young, projectable body with an AVG ML arm.  Fair hands and feet, so arm and accuracy make arm play down, but this kid is young, physical, and projectable.  Some crudeness in swing but has strength and quickness with power now. More power will continue to come. Big strong offensive catcher that with work can make himself into a solid defender.

11/1/18: Appalachian State recruit, was the best in-game offensive performer. He is physically imposing at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. Defensively, he may have to move to the outfield as there is some stiffness behind the plate, but the bat really has continued to show up. He is extremely strong and has bat speed and stays compact and minimized swing and miss. He had single and a triple in the game and could be one of the top bats in the state.

Committed to Appalachian State

9/22/18LSU transfer. Listed at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Doolittle has always been physically strong, but appears to have put on even more strength. Offensively, he was on the barrell the entire day with a home run and single in the first game. There is strength and power. There is some stiffness and will have to make some strides defensively, but there is real offensive and especially power potential.
