Cape Cod: A well-regarded recruit out of Hawaii, but he struggled offensively in two years at Texas A&M before opting to transfer to NC State this summer. He put together a strong summer in Harwich, hitting .278 in 54 at-bats, though he did not record an extra-base hit. Harrison's lefthanded stroke is contact-oriented at this stage, but he has some feel for the strike zone and a gap-to-gap approach. He stood out more for his shortstop defense this summer, showing good hands and actions as well as the ability to make strong, accurate throws on the run, but he also made six errors in 16 games so there are things to clean up. He figures to compete for the starting shortstop job at NC State next spring, but he'll need to show more impact potential with the bat in order to turn himself into a bona fide pro prospect.
