8/6/17- 6-foot-1, 210-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 5.51 home-to-first time. Tall stance, hitch in load, fly ball contact, works gap to gap, 88 mph exit velocity. Avg. feet and hands, makes routine, low ¾ arm slot, sinking action to bag on throws, 75 mph arm strength. On mound; quicker tempo, rolls into balance point, low elbow release point with arm extension to plate. Fastball was 75-77 mph, touching 79 mph, with slight cutting action to plate. Tends to change arm action on breaking ball, loses velo, at 63-67 mph.
2/26/17- 6-foot-1, 210-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 4.71 home-to-first time. Square upright stance, tall to fall weight shift through contact, hard contact to oppo gap when extended, line drive and flyball contact, 86 mph exit velocity. Heavier feet in field, solid glove, make routine plays, above avg. accuracy to bag, 79 mph arm across infield. On mound; controlled mechanics, high leg kick, swings open to plate, ¾ arm slot with extension. Fastball showed flat action to plate at 77-79 mph. 11/5 breaking has avg. shape and depth to plate. Shows feel for zone with changeup with solid fade.
3/6/16- 6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 5.01 home-to-first time. Ok setup in box. Maintains posture to contact. Lifts up through contact. Lacks extension through contact creating groundballs and occasional low line drives. 81 mph exit velocity. Rigid actions in field. Avg. glove and feet. Flashes some arm speed on throws with carry to bag at 74 mph. Controlled rocker step with slight tuck and turn delivery. Long clean arm action with decent extension to plate on release. Occasional cut action on fastball at 70-74 mph; touching 75 mph. Shows some feel for 11/5 breaking ball in the zone. Inconsistent action on changeup at 66-68 mph.
