The right-hander showed well in his ‘pen with a five-pitch mix and high-spin. He’s an up-tempo mover with a clean delivery, working with a high leg-lift into balance point before working in-line down the mound, medium/long draw out of the glove into a higher ¾ release. The fastball played in the 86-87 mph range with over 2,300 rpm - setting up both a slider at 77-78 mph (T2678 rpm) and curveball at 70-74 mph (T2712 rpm), both showing sharp action with different shapes. He also showed a sinker which played harder than the four seam up to 88 mph, averaging just under 15” of run. His final offering was a changeup at 74-75 mph with killed spin and around 13” of run on average.
