8/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, strong and athletic frame, right-handed hitter posted a 4.63 home to first base time with 91 mph tee exit velocity.  Hits from a balanced stance with short stride, explodes with lower half to generate barrel whip through the zone, short swing path with extension through the baseball, shows pull-side power, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single to left and lined out hard in another at bat.  Solid defensively behind the plate, 73 mph arm strength with most throws accurate to second base, pop times ranged from 2.08-2.15 (have seen slightly better at previous events), solid combination of defensive and offensive ability.

6/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect with strong and athletic frame, shows good athleticism behind the plate with athletic feet, 74 mph arm strength from the crouch with pop times consistent between 2.06-2.09, solid receiver that showed very good lateral blocking skills in game play.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride, good use of lower half torque, slight uphill path creates some lift in swing, solid power potential, ran 4.66 down the first base line, 89 mph tee exit velocity, went 0-for-4 in game play but squared the baseball up a few times, solid 2015 catching prospect.

1/19/14 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect with athletic build, good setup behind the plate, displays good receiving skills, shows athletic feet and gains ground on throws, quick glove to hand transfer, 74 mph arm strength from the crouch with pop times ranging from 1.96-2.07.  At the plate, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, good rhythm in swing, good use of lower half, slight uphill path creates some lift, gets to extension well, shows some potential to hit for power, ran 4.58 down the first base line, 81 mph tee exit velocity, solid 2015 prospect.  On the mound, uses shorter arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, delivery requires some effort, fastball sat 79-81 mph with some good arm-side run and sink on two-seamer, lacked command of 71-72 mph curveball with late 11/5 action, changeup thrown with near fastball arm speed at 72-74 mph with some run and sinking action.
