10/2/16 - 60 Time: 7.72, Position Velocity: IF-72, Exit Velocity: 88 6-foot-0, 234-pound, RHH hits from a balanced stance, uses a short stride and a lowering and very slight push back of his hands to get loaded, lower half cuts him off and doesn’t allow his hips to clear out at times, decent bat speed was produced by a fairly flat swing path, some gap-to-gap and pull pop potential created mostly by his upper body strength. Defensively, showed good hands and above-average footwork around the bag, short arm action produced average arm strength but showed some very good accuracy.
1/18/16 - 5-foot-11, 234-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance and utilizes a short stride and a simple hand drop and wrap to constitute his load, lacks some lower half involvement but showed a quick, short, and level swing in producing an 75 mph (81 at previous event) exit velocity off the tee, very handsy swing. Showed solid hands and maneuverability around the bag on the defensive side, short exchange and arm action led to a 75 mph position velocity from an over the top release point. Webb also ran a 7.58 60-yard dash.
10/18/15 - 5-foot-11, 234-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, has room to improve use of lower half, shows some strength in swing with occasional pull-side power, has a pull approach, hit well in game play going 2-for-3 with a triple and single to left field and a SAC fly, 74 mph exit velocity (81 at previous event), ran 4.81 down the line. Shows adequate hands defensively, average movement around the bag, short ¾ release with below average arm strength at 62 mph across the infield.
1/17/15 - - 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, drops hands, level swing path, needs more use of lower half, shows some strength in swing, ran 4.84 home to first base time, 81 mph exit velocity. Defensively, shows soft hands, decent movement around the bag, short arm action with over the top release, 65 mph arm strength across the infield.
