6-foot-4, 240-pound physical prospect. Long arm action with an over the top slot. Uses a simple delivery with a little counter rotation through an easy lift. Throws with some effort. Fastball was mostly straight on a downhill plane at 79-81 mph. Complimented the fastball with 63-66 mph 12/6 curveball that showed some depth to it. Needs to continue to develop his changeup, as he struggled to command to throw strikes with it. At 72-74 mph the pitch has some cutting action to it. At the plate he does a nice job of getting energy from his lower half. Hands move back at release before taking a level path to the ball. Advanced strength with solid whip through the zone. Power potential is in there. Moves well off the bag at first base and has obvious feel for the position. Very efficient footwork on his double play balls.
