5-foot-9, 150 pound RHH. Room to add strength to athletic frame. Solid all-around player. Lead off type hitter. Starts open with a leg kick trigger. Barrel on plane produces a lot of line drive contact. Uses all fields. Ran 6.98 laser-timed 60 yard dash. Speed is a definite part of his offensive game. Polished defender at SS. Makes every play with relative ease. Good body control and ability to throw on the move. Soft hands. Good lateral movement. Speed plays up some on the field. Excellent base runner and high baseball IQ. Posted 4.29 home to first base time in the fall. Played 4 games in a tournament for PBR Team KY last fall. See those notes below.

Fall Team KY - PBR Southeast Championship, Charleston, SC. Bannister manned the SS position for every inning of the tournament and to say he impressed would be an understatement. The athletic MIF didn’t commit an error in four games while making plays all over the field. He shows soft hands and the ability to make plays on the move while throwing from different arm angles. At the plate, Bannister set the table as a prototypical lead-off hitter, and once he got on the base paths, he used his speed and aggressiveness to steal several bases. He finished with 3 hits (including a double), walked twice, and scored 6 runs. He also ran a 4.29 home to first time on a ground out.
