5-foot-9, 155-pound RHH hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, slight hand load, line drive type hitter showed mostly opposite field contact, average bat speed, went 1-for-4 with a bloop double to RF. Showed best pop times to date, footwork stays online but has room to get quicker, made accurate throws to the bag. Sharp continues to show some improvement in his overall game.

5-foot-9, 155-pound RHH hits from a narrow/open stance, showed a longer stride than previous event, showed a big jump in exit velocity, front side type hitter, has a fairly flat bat path that produces line drive contact, gap to gap approach. Showed similar pop times with a slight decrease in arm strength from previous event. Footwork stays online but has room to improve quickness, release can get quicker, should see pop times improve with continued work, made occasional accurate throws to the bag.
1/24/16 - Home-1st: 4.62, Pop Time: 2.26-2.28, Position Velocity:  C-75, Exit Velocity: 75
5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed hitter hits from an open stance and gets to square with a short stride, hands start high and drop slightly in load, line drive type hitter with average bat speed, showed the ability to use all fields. Defensively, shows some arm strength at 75 mph from the crouch, quicker footwork and a quicker release will result in an improvement in his 2.26-2.28 pop times, shows some athleticism behind the plate.
