Pitching- Good arm speed, with a high ¾ arm slot, and down hill motion
Fastball: 88-91 MPH (Top Spin Rate 2271)
Slider: 76-77 MPH (Tight spin with a late break, Avg spin 2623)
Change up: 76-81 MPH
Curveball: 74-76 MPH
Comments: At 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, New has a frame that projects as a starter. He got off to a slow start in the 2024 high school season but worked out some issues and really came on as the year progressed. Continues to show an uptick in velocity. High spin rate guy with a high ceiling. Slider has potential to be a next level swing & miss offering with continued development. One of the top uncommitted arms on the 2025 recruiting board in Kentucky.

Body: 6-5, 190-pounds. Tall, athletic
Delivery: relaxed and smooth down the mound with some explosiveness
Arm Action: RH. OTT
FB: T89, 88-89 mph. Downhill and can mix it in all parts of the zone T2215, 1935 average rpm.
CB: 72-73 mph. 12/8 movement with tight spin and late break T2254, 2107 average rpm.
CH: 76-82 mph. Good velo and spin on this pitch, can follow the FB for s good swing and miss pitch T2220, 1893 average rpm.
