6-foot, 170 pound RHP with medium athletic frame with projection. Quickness in arm immediately stands out. Generates relatively easy velocity working through a high-3/4 slot. Located most fastballs in the strike zone. Mostly straight fastball. Though he lacked some command of it on this day (not uncommon in early season bullpen), the slider showed occasional sharpness and has potential to be a swing-and-miss offering. Showed some feel for a solid changeup thrown with good arm action. Given quickness of arm, would not be surprised to see additional velocity. Newberry is certainly a high follow this spring
