6'1" 185 lbs. durable frame with a strong lower-half. Tompkins look sharp in his relief appearance in Game 1 vs. West Monroe. He competed and attacked hitters aggressively in the zone with a low-mid 80's heater and solid low-mid 70's CB, as he logged 1 2/3 IP and gave up 1 H and 0 ER. Likely an important part of the Bears bullpen this spring, Tompkins is a really good uncommitted right-hander in the state's 2025 class to monitor moving forward.

Body: 6-1, 180-pounds. Athletic and durable
Delivery: Operated out of the stretch, sinks down deep into bag leg after leg lift, shoulders stay on-line and he finishes square to his target.
Arm Action: RH. Full arm circle with a high 3/4-OTT release.
FB: T82, 80-82 mph. Some life through the zone, commanded well to glove side. T2178, 1972 average rpm.
CB: 68-74 mph. "12-6" shape with tight top to bottom break when he's on top. T1939, 1901 average rpm.
SL: 72-74 mph. Short/tight lateral break with a little depth. T1955, 1917 average rpm.
