Brother Martin was one of the teams that we were excited to see down in Lake Charles, LA last weekend, and we came away impressed with Tingstrom's outing.  The Delgado Community College recruit got the start against Waxahatchie (TX) and tossed 5 2/3 IP giving up 1 ER on 4 H with 1 BB and 1 K on just 67 pitches (44 strikes | 23 balls).  Tingstrom works off the third base side of the rubber and hides the ball extremely well, before using a compact arm stroke to release the ball from a 3/4 slot.  He attacked hitters with a 80-81 mph FB and did an excellent job of driving his FB in to right-handed hitters.  Tingstrom rarely had to go to his 70-73 mph CB or his late-fading 74-75 mph CH, but both were solid secondary offerings.  If he can replicate this type of performance each week, then he'll be awfully tough to beat.

Delivery: Starts in middle of rubber and stays there throughout a repeatable delivery, glove stays at waist level into a high leg lift, turns shoulders slightly inward to hide ball, strides on-line and finishes off to 3B side some.
Arm Action: LH. Compact arm swing with a 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Classic LH arm-side run with some sink. T2221, 2049 average rpm.
SL: 69-73 mph. "2-8" shape with lateral sweep and little depth. T2380, 2134 average rpm.
CH: 71-73 mph. Keeps same arm stroke, fades it with some sink to the arm-side. T1981, 1952 average rpm.
