Athletic 5’10” 170 lbs. frame with some room to add strength as he matures. Starts on the left side of the rubber and stays there throughout his delivery. Quick and deliberate windup landing with shoulders and lower half square to the plate after each pitch. Brings the ball up quickly, releasing it from a ¾ arm slot that produced a max FB velocity of 76 mph, sitting 72-75 mph. CB was “10-4” and shaped more like a slurve, sitting 61-63 mph with average spin. SL was shaped similarly to the CB and sat 62-64 mph. CH had some late fading actions when he stayed behind the pitch and sat 62-65 mph. RHH starts in a slightly open, balanced set-up with minimal movement in his hands. Simple load and stride to get back to center. Direct bat path with level extension through the baseball produced a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Flashed some pull side power. Average footwork, soft hands, with a quick release during the INF portion of the day. Low ¾ arm slot produced a positional velocity of 77 mph. Posted a 7.36 in the 60.
