Thomas Walsh: LHP, (2020) Alexandria, LA. Solid frame. In the box, the  hitters best exit velocity was 85 mph. Sets up in a strong crouched stance and had a small leg kick. Displayed explosive bat speed, an uphill swing plane and extension on his finish. Pull side approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 84 mph; has smooth footwork and sure hands. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 80 mph across the field; has soft hands. Used a high ¾ slot with long quick  arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.62. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher. When pitched in sequence with fastball, his changeup (76-77 mph) can keep hitters off balance. Threw his fastball 82-85 mph with a max of 85 mph; had some action. Has swing and miss action and control low in the zone on his curveball (71-72).


Thomas Walsh: LHP/1B, (2020) Alexandria, LA. 6-foot, 195-pound physical frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in a balanced strong  stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick to start his swing. Had explosive bat speed and a level swing plane, he ended his swing with extension on his finish. In the round, found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 86 mph; had soft hands and a fluid exchange. In the infield, recorded position velocities up to 82 mph; had a clean exchange and rhythmic feet. Laterally, movements were athletic. Showed a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.67. On the mound, showing quick arm speed used a high ¾ angle with a loose arm action. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Has uphill shoulders and a strong balance point off the mound. Lands square with a falling off finish. Showed the most control on his curveball (69-70 mph) when he stayed on top. Clocked sitting at 82-87 mph and topped out at 87 mph; had tailing action and consistent command with hard movement. He had sinking action on his changeup(76-78).

5/20/17 Medium 5-foot-11, 178-pound frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges while fielding on heels. Short arm action into high-¾ release with accuracy and solid arm strength, producing a positional velocity of 76 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from athletic, balanced setup, working backwards in load with leg lift, landing balanced hitting position. Pull type approach with slight uphill path, with early rhythm; producing a exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash.
