The sophomore southpaw got the start last Thursday against Ouachita Christian at the Trey Altick tournament and there's still a lot to like even though it wasn't his best results.  Waguespack earned the no-decision after tossing 3 1/3 IP, giving up only 1 ER on 4 H with 4 BB and 7 K's.  On a night with near freezing temperatures, his FB stayed in the 79-80 mph range, but we expect that to go up as we start to warm up this spring, as we saw him up to 85 mph in the fall at our State Games.  His heater has classic left-handed sink & run and it plays from a lower release height of 4.9'.  Waguespack's 67-72 mph CB at times flashed and it will become an even better and more consistent secondary offering once he learns how to throw it harder with tighter spin.
