6-foot-1, 170-pound left-hander out of the Northeast Baseball program. Pitches out of a plus ¾ arm slot. The arm is long and loose on the backside. The arm has quickness to it, the feet have crossfire to them. Needs additional physical strength to aid development. Coil at the top of the lift and does an admirable job of tracking the shoulder. The glove side has a good amount of pull to it, leading to deception and hiding the ball. The fastball touched 78 mph with arm side run to it. The breaking ball has good shape to it, sitting at 64 mph. Needs to accelerate arm on the spin and make it break out front, eliminating wrapping the wrist on the backside of the arm swing. The changeup has a unique grip to it , as the fingers are straight up, off the ball, a la Trevor Hoffman. He throws it for strikes and it has action, sits at 71 mph.
Long and lanky left-hander from Oakmont. Pitches out of a 3/4 slot with good action to the fastball. Rare grip to the changeup but it comes out of his hand the same so it works for him. The delivery is rotational as he has a ton of coil at the top half, creating a great deal of shoulder and hip separation but at times the direction needs tweaking. Good looking arm.
