5-foot-8, 155-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 7.6 sixty at the event. The receiving behind the dish has improve and he shows a good feel for securing the catch. He threw 71 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.15.  The feet can continue to quicken during the transfer, as he has the right idea on what needs to develop. The bat showed an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot steps into the swing. The path is slightly uphill and he shows good bat speed. The bottom half of the swing is under control throughout.

Catching Velocity- 71 mph

5-foot-8, 140-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Had a good showing at the event, as he swung the bat well. Ran a 4.87 home to first at the event. The receiving is trending in the right direction as he shows soft hands and does well securing the catch. Threw 65 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.27. The feet can shorten down during the transfer and adding arm strength as he matures is imperative. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The bat path is simple and clean to contact. He swung the bat well in batting practice and hammered a couple balls in game play.
