Aiden Cardoza: LHP/1B, (2023) Bishop Stang, MA. 5-foot-9, 180-pound. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Uses easy effort in his delivery. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph; has sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2081; Avg 1951). He showed a sharp 12/6 curveball (68-69). (Max spin 1916; Avg 1862). His changeup (72-74) has late fading action.
Aiden Cardoza: LHP/1B, (2023) Bishop Stang, MA. 5-foot-9, 180-pound athletic frame. Solid in the box, Cardoza clocked an exit velocity of 76 mph. Began in an athletic balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed is some, displays a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 73 mph; had a fluid exchange, rhythmic footwork, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were quick and fielded the ball out front. Showed a ¾ slot and a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph; has consistent command and running action. Throws a tight curveball (63-64) with consistent control and late action. Has consistent control and fading action on his changeup (74-75).
