Andrew DeLucia: RHP/3B, (2022) Catholic Memorial, MA. 6-foot-1, 195-pound athletic strong frame. Showed a ¾ slot and a long quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Above average and projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose quick arm action while showing above average quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed a consistent balance point and falling off shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 87-88 mph; showed running action and arm side control with heavy movement. (Max spin 2240; Avg 2067). Had fading action and glove side around the zone command on his sharp changeup (79-80). His sharp slider (77-80) has in the zone control and tight late action. (Max spin 2308; Avg 2112).

Arm:  Long quick arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Pitching: Above average and projectable. Drop-and-drive delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, above average quick arm speed, loose quick arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands closed, an athletic finish.

FB: T88. 87-88 mph. (Max spin 2240;  Avg 2067). Arm side accuracy, running action, heavy movement. 

CH: 79-80 mph. Glove side around the zone command, fading action, sharp movement. 

SL: 77-80 mph. In the zone control, tight late action, sharp movement. (Max spin 2308; Avg 2112). 

Andrew DeLucia: RHP/3B, (2022) out of Catholic Memorial, MA. is a 6-foot-1, 188-pound right-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, he showed a quick arm and some added development on his pitches. DeLucia works out of a simple delivery. He gets to a good balance point before separating and heading down the mound. The shoulders are square, creating consistent direction with home plate. He lands square and uses a ¾ arm slot to produce a fastball that sat 86-87 MPH with heavy sinking action. He also showed a sharp curveball (74-75 MPH) and a changeup (79-80 MPH) with sinking action.

Future Games

6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat at 82-84 mph with arm side action to it. The slider was 76-77 mph and very good in shape. The changeup is in play sitting at 77-78 mph. The stuff is very good but the command of the fastball has to improve. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The lift is athletic and solid in tempo. The backside has too much sink to it, causing him to pitch uphill. The front glove has too much pull to it, taking him offline prior to foot strike. I believe if he makes these 2 adjustments he will flourish on the mound. His makeup is ideal to be a pitcher, as he unfazed. 

6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting third baseman. Positionally, he ran a 7.7 sixty at the event. he threw 81 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The feet need to remain active during the fielding process. The glove is soft. The bat has an exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is even, front foot open to start. The front foot closes down as the swing is initiated, as he uses a knee to knee timing mechanism. The path is long to contact. On the mound, the delivery is online and above 3/4 in height. The arm is clean and the tempo of the delivery is clean. The glove has pull to it and the tracking of the front shoulder comes offline. The backside has sink to it, he needs to stay taller on the backside so he can pitch downhill. The fastball was up to 81 mph. The slider is a good pitch, sitting at 74-75 mph. The changeup has action and is still developing. 

Exit Velocity- 87 mph

INF Velocity- 81 mph

6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 81-82 mph with minimal arm side run to it. The slider is a very good pitch for him, sitting at 75-77 mph. He showed a breaking ball as well, sitting 68-69 mph. The changeup is 75 -76 mph and good in action. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4. He shows his pocket at the top of his lift as he makes his way into foot strike. The top half direction needs to be more online as he spins off the target a bit too soon. He is a guy on the mound with the best days in front of him.

5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder. Showed extremely well on the day as he is a legit prospect. On the mound, the fastball sat at 84-85, with arm side run. Showed a plus slider at 74 mph, good depth to the pitch. The breaking ball was 72-73, solid in shape. Also displayed a solid changeup at 72-73 mph, with minimal fade to it. The delivery is online with the feet and slot is slightly above 3/4. The top half direction needs to be aligned longer as he makes his way into foot strike. He spins off a tick too soon. The arm is clean and the lift is athletic. The approach in the infield is athletic and appropriate. He threw 84 mph across the diamond with ease. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The path is long and slightly uphill as he steps into the swing.
