Andrew Yen: RHP/3B, (2025) Chelmsford, MA. 165-pound solid frame. Capable at the plate, Yen recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. (68.8 mph bat speed average). (18.8 mph hand speed average). Started in an open wide stance with a high handsy load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, exhibits an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; shows a clean exchange, developing consistent feet, and developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he showed  low ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 77-78 mph; has command arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2155; Avg 2122). His curveball (68-69) showed glove side around the zone control and slurvey action. (Max spin 2061; Avg 1796). His changeup (73-74) had gradual fading action and arm side control.
