6-foot-3, 190-pound, strong physical athletic frame, already filling out. A two-way playing solid showing on the day. At the plate, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are super loose at shoulders. The swing path is level is through the zone, has an athletic finish with one hand high above the shoulders. The hands stay inside the baseball, has an advanced all fields approach to the baseball. The tee exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 7.28 sixty-yard dash. Look for the power to continue to improve. Definitely, very good approach into the baseball, feet move throughout, fields out front with soft hands. The arm works from a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 84 mph. The double feeds and starts were performed correct with flow and good timing. Off the mound, simple delivery, good direction down the mound building momentum. The arm swing is long and loose, works out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball reached 83 mph, worked it down in the zone to both sides. The breaking ball has tight spin at 72 mph, depth, tilt, slight slurve break times. With the breaking ball showing to have good velocity, look for the overall velo to pop at some point. Time will tell which way he ends up, projects for me as a third baseman, with projection off the mound.
