Anthony Marino: SS/RHP, (2023) out of Bishop Fenwick, MA. is an athletic 5-foot-11, 155-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Marino had an exit velocity of 92 MPH, with a (66.28 mph bat speed average) and (20.57 mph hand speed average). He sets up in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed from both sides of the plate. Each swing uses a controlled leg kick to begin the bat head on a short, flat path through his finish. During his rounds, he showed the ability to use the whole field from the right side, while the left handed swing showed more of a pull side approach. In the infield, he was 84 MPH across the diamond on his throws, while also showing athletic footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands during the defensive portion. Marino also showed off his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.88. On the mound, Marino showed a quick arm and an easy delivery. He was able to get balanced at the top, with the shoulders in line before heading down the mound. He lands square, finishing over his front leg. The arm swing is a higher ¾ arm slot that produces a fastball that comes in at 86-88 MPH (Max spin 2472; Avg 2356) with late arm side run. Marino also mixed in a tight curveball (65-66 MPH)(Max spin 2678; Avg 2550) and a changeup (79-80 MPH) with good action.

Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small handsy load, then used a toe tap small stride. Bat speed is developing above average, exhibits an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Above average athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; has athletic developing feet, a clean natural exchange, and soft sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Using a loose arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a high ¾ slot. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.77. Above average athletic on the mound, showed above average lightning arm speed, also used a very quick consistent arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. During his delivery, the balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 84-86 mph; showed running action and command arm side in the zone with sharp movement. His 11/5 curveball (67-70) shows glove side around the zone control and sweeping action.
