Billy Saltmarsh: RHP/OF, (2022) Atttleboro, MA. 6-foot-4, 165-pound lanky frame. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in a wide balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Has some bat speed, flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph; has consistent command and tilt with heavy movement. His splitter (65-69) has gradual action and low in the zone command.

Hit: (RHH) Starts in a wide balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Some bat speed. Good extension on his finish, flat swing. Pull side approach. 

Power: 83 mph exit velocity, average 71.11 mph. 65.68 mph bat speed average. 21.18 mph hand speed average.

Pitching: Solid. Slow-tempo delivery, easy effort. Over-the-top arm angle, quick arm speed, long arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, a clean finish.

FB: T81. 80-81 mph. (Max spin 2031;  Avg 1990). Consistent accuracy, tilt, heavy movement. 

SP: 65-69 mph. Low in the zone control, gradual action. 

6-foot-4, 155-pound, longer, thin athletic frame. Shows to have plenty of room for added weight. A two-way player, projects more off the mound down the road. A right-handed pitcher, delivery is simple, hands start low and work up with easy left. The separation is on time, small drop on backside, leading lead foot to kick out and land slightly across frame. The arm action is super clean, with a longer bottom to top path, working out of high 3/4 to over the top slot. Pounded the zone with three pitches, fastball clocked at 76 mph, down in the zone with action to arm side. Threw a split at 61 mph, downward break, along with a curve ball at 63 mph, thrown for strikes with proper spin. At the plate, feet are even and wider, loose hands at the shoulders, bat stats in a tilted position. The swing is level through the zone, more line drives. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 72 mph, ran a 7.59 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 73 mph, from a higher slot. The feet are clean, steps through hard gaining ground. The front side glove needs to stay up longer, will help the direction. Good looking young arm.
