5-foot-7, 132-pound, thin, wiry strong athletic frame, squared off shoulders, with room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed well, twitchy actions and movements. At the plate, even feet at shoulder width, hands are loaded with bat tilt. The swing is short to contact, level through the zone, ball jumps off the bat. The approach is to all fields, line drives, had an exit velocity of 80 mph. A real good runner, ran a 4.19 home to first. Defensively, shows very quick feet in transfer, gains ground is inline with target. The hands are soft on the catch, looked to be comfortable in bullpens. The arm action is short on the back, working out of a natural slot, had a pop time of 2.0-2.16, and arm was clocked at 70 mph. A ton more left in the arm look for a velocity jump, with pop time lowering. Need to see him.
